Tempo

Website Design & Brand Style Guide System (In Progress)

At Tempo, I designed the company’s website and developed a complete brand style guide to establish a cohesive and scalable visual identity. My work focused on creating a modern, engaging digital experience while ensuring the brand could remain consistent across future marketing materials, product updates, and partnerships.

Website Design

Project Goal:
Design a modern, intuitive website that clearly communicates Tempo’s platform, engages users, and encourages participation in weekly competitive games.

Design Focus:

  • Clean, modern interface highlighting the competitive gaming experience
  • Clear navigation and structured layout for easy exploration
  • Strong visual hierarchy to guide users through the platform
  • Strategic use of color, typography, and spacing to reinforce brand identity
  • User-focused design prioritizing clarity, accessibility, and engagement

Strategy:
The website was designed to introduce users to Tempo’s concept quickly while guiding them toward exploring the weekly game competitions and leaderboard system. I structured the layout to balance excitement with usability, ensuring that the platform felt dynamic while remaining easy to navigate for new users.

Impact:
Delivered a visually cohesive and user-friendly website that effectively communicates Tempo’s concept and provides a strong foundation for future platform growth.

Brand Style Guide System (In Progress)

Project Goal:
Develop a foundational brand style system for Tempo to establish visual consistency across digital platforms and future marketing materials.

Design Focus:

  • Completed: foundational logo/brand direction, colours, typography, brand voice, audience strategy. Incomplete: expanding those foundations into a complete UI/design system, additional component states, and further product/marketing applications.

Status:
This style guide represents an early-stage brand system and foundational direction. Additional UI components (such as button states and extended interface elements) were planned but not completed due to project discontinuation.

Impact:
Established a cohesive visual and strategic foundation for Tempo’s brand identity, enabling future designers or developers to maintain consistency across product and marketing touchpoints.
